ATTENTION PROVIDERS:

Thank you for your participation in the 211 Maine directory. 211 Maine is pleased to announce that going forward, updates to listings in our directory will be handled electronically, and your current 211 profile(s) can be easily updated/changed with a quick email exchange.

The desire for electronic updates was highlighted in several conversations across the state as an important function for providers and our hope is that it will make updating your resources more efficient.

Things you need to know:

• As always, the expectation to be listed in the 211 Maine database is that all providers will review their listings at least once annually. Moving forward, you will receive an automated email when your annual review is due (see image #1 below).

• Your verification email will come from one of the 211 Maine Resource Coordinators.
• Once you complete the Contact Information, you will be brought to a page to review your listing(s) (see image #2 below). NOTE: If you click “Save Changes,” you CANNOT come back to the edits later. In order to skip and come back, you have to hit “Skip for now and do later.”

• If you would like to make an update outside of your annual review (which we encourage whenever you have new information to share/revise!) email resources@211maine.org and a 211 Maine Resource Coordinator will send you your link to update.
• If you have any questions or issues, please reach out. The number for the Resource Coordinator reviewing your profile will be in the email you receive with the link. This is a new process for everyone and mistakes are okay. We cannot stress enough: if you are having trouble, reach out!
