Human Services – Connect with resources and programs that provide energy and heating assistance, rental assistance, food services, and other family and individual services. Whether you are seeking emergency help for basic needs or long-term programs, 211 Specialists are trained to connect you with the right place to go for help.

Family Support & Mental Health Services – 211 Maine helps people find mental health services, substance use treatment and recovery support, family services, childcare support and child development resources. Specialists also help you find crisis support during times of natural disaster, if you are in a dangerous living situation, or need help with suicide prevention. 211 Maine is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Housing Assistance – 211 Specialists are trained and friendly and will connect you with emergency shelters for youth and families, or help you find housing assistance programs, including programs that can aid with utilities and home repairs. Specialists can also help you find programs and respite care for older adults and individuals with developmental disabilities, and direct those moving to Maine to resources to help with their transition.

Job Help & Education Resources – Let 211 help you find career centers, job training and certificate programs, continuing education, and literacy programs. 211 can provide education and job resources for those seeking employment help, help with childcare, or provide information for those seeking programs for military veterans.
